Permits

All property owners must obtain approval from DTMA prior to performing any work that directly or indirectly affects the sewerage system. If you have permitting questions, please call (717) 566-3237. When obtaining a sewer permit you will be asked to provide the property owner’s name and address, the service address where the work will be performed, the contractor who will be performing the work, and the water supplier for the property. There may be a fee due and payable at the time the permit is obtained.

Please print out the Sewer Connection/Repair Permit Application, complete the form, then email it to customerservice@dtma.com. The permit will be processed and available for pickup and payment within 1-3 business days. Permits will only be issued after payment has been received.
